Best CELPIP Prep Apps and Tools in 2026: An Honest Comparison
Updated 11 October 2026 · Ratings verified on the App Store & Google Play, September 2026
Short answer: The best CELPIP prep tool depends on what you need. For instant AI scoring on both Writing and Speaking inside a complete app with a long track record, CELPIP TIP with AI is the strongest all-rounder (4.8★, 1,600+ ratings, on iOS and Android since 2017). For speaking-only practice, USpeak focuses there; for the authentic test interface, use the Official CELPIP Practice Test; and there are solid free options for basic practice.
Key takeaways
- Only a few tools score both Writing and Speaking with AI; most cover one skill or none.
- CELPIP TIP with AI is the most-reviewed CELPIP prep app on the App Store (4.8★, 1,600+ ratings, live since 2017).
- The Official CELPIP Practice Test has the authentic interface but no AI scoring — pair it with an AI tool rather than choosing between them.
- Free options exist for basic practice (e.g., Celpip12).
How we compared
We looked at six objective factors: (1) AI Writing scoring, (2) AI Speaking scoring, (3) full-length mock tests, (4) platform (app vs web), (5) track record (ratings and how long it's been live), and (6) pricing model. Ratings and review counts are from the App Store / Google Play as of September 2026. CELPIP itself is administered by Paragon Testing Enterprises; no third-party prep tool is affiliated with the official test.
